Arriving at the Palm Beach Aquatic Centre

The Palm Beach Aquatic Centre has 6 disabled carparks and a disabled bus zone at the entrance to the facility.  Access to the reception is flat and slopes slightly upward from the carpark.  Flat access is located directly in front of the disabled bus zone.

 

Entering the Centre

Entry into the centre is through a set of double doors with no obstacles.  Entry from the reception area to the Hydrotherapy pool and 50 meter pool is through a set of double doors which has a slightly sloped exit.

 

Entering and facilities of the Hydrotherapy Pool

Entry into the Hydrotherapy pool is along flat concrete and through a set of automatic double doors which are opened via a push button.  Entry into the pool is via ramp access and aquatic wheelchairs are available on site.  A Sonata mobile lift is also available for use please see reception.  A wheelchair accessable toilet and shower are available as well as additional change rooms and a change room space on deck with a large change table.  The Hydrotherapy pool is maintained at 34°.

50 meter Pool

The 50m pool is acceasable via a ramp and have concrete pathways to all areas of the 50m pool.  The main change rooms contain a diabled toilet and shower.
